FAQ / Pricing & plans

Can we change plans mid-year?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately, pro-rated for the remainder of the year. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. No long-term contract required for the upgrade path.

Upgrading mid-year

If your needs grow — you add document types that need Power BI reporting, you decide to adopt PAdES signing, your organization exceeds Business-tier scope — you can move up tiers immediately. We pro-rate the plan difference for the remainder of your contract year. The new capabilities turn on the same day.

Downgrading

Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. We don’t require long notice — 30 days is sufficient — but we don’t pro-rate refunds for the current contract period.

What this means practically

Start with the plan that matches your immediate needs. If the scope grows, the upgrade path is straightforward and adds cost proportionally to the time remaining. If the scope contracts, the lower plan applies at the next renewal.

This flexibility is why most customers don’t over-buy at initial purchase. Going Business-first and upgrading to Enterprise in month 4 when a new document-type scope surfaces is a cheaper and better path than guessing Enterprise-level needs from day one.
